Our First Project - Starting Up!
Our first campaign for fundraising will help us accomplish three important things:
1. IRS tax-exempt status
2. Incorporate as a legal non-profit organization in Florida
3. Register to solicit donations in Florida
Four and I are doing everything out of pocket right now.
Every dollar donated helps us get Save Coral up and running quicker!
The average cost of setting up a non-profit in Florida is $2500. This campaign's goal is solely based on those costs which are included below.
- Florida Articles of Incorporation & Registered Agent: $78.75 ($35 filing + $35 agent fee + $8.75 Certified Copy of Status).
- Florida Solicitation of Contributions: $10-400 for registration.
- Florida Sunbiz Annual Report: $61.25
- IRS Form 1023 Filing for 501c3 non-profit status: $600
- Legal Fees for help with IRS filing: $500
- Domain name, website with Wix and business email integration: $211.60
